ESPRESSO COFFEE SERVICE

The following 3 hour course covers the theory and practical service of espresso coffees as covered by components of the nationally accredited Hospitality Unit - Prepare and serve espresso coffee  THHBFB12B


The course is 3 hours duration.
Conducted in your venue between service hours.
Minimum of 4 participants.
Recommended for all staff including managers , supervisors and line staff .
Focused on improving product knowledge, service skills, confidence and morale.
Empahasis on improving selling techniques of products and increasing profitability .
GTD will provide a Certificate of Attendance at completion.


The course covers the following : 

·     Coffee beans and roasting theory

·      Maintaining quality of grind and coffee pours

·      Preparation of: espresso ,cappuccino, café latte, ristretto, machiatto, flat white 

·      Preparation of liqueur coffee

·      Milk texturing technique.

·      Espresso machine cleaning and maintenance
